A writers' residency in the heart of Dunedin

The Robert Lord Writers Cottage Trust provides rent-free accommodation in Robert's refurbished workman's cottage for writers in any genre who come to live and work in Dunedin — for periods of four weeks to six months.

The Trust also partners with Dunedin organisations to offer three annual residencies: the University of Otago College of Education / Creative New Zealand Children's Writer in Residence, a Summer residency for emerging writers in association with University Book Shop (Otago), and the New Zealand Young Writers Festival residency in association with the Dunedin Fringe Trust.
